Reliability Engineer (Electrical) - South Africa
Exciting Opportunity at Leading Chemical Manufacturer Our client, a prominent manufacturer and seller of base chemicals, is seeking a talented Reliability Engineer (Electrical) to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment reliability and compliance with statutory requirements. Develop preventative maintenance strategies following Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles. Lead management of change initiatives to stabilize and optimize the electrical network. Manage electrical projects and initiate energy efficiency solutions across the organization. Measure and improve equipment reliability through continuous monitoring and analysis. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. 5-10 years' experience in maintenance projects, preferably in a chemical processing environment. Extensive knowledge of ISO standards and Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Proficiency in MS Office, SCADA, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Additional Information: Position reports to the Electrical Manager. Full compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act No. 85 of 1993 is required. Further responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
