Rental Superintendent - Cape Town Region

Hire Resolve’s client in manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Rental Superintendent to join their team in Western Cape. Responsibilities: · Manage rentals maintenance department in line with branch objectives · Sign off and issue COC’s for all Rentals Cabins · Manage budget spend, material ordering and tool allocations · Coordinate logistics · Ensure that the relevant Rentals buildings are refurbished within budget parameters · Plan the Rentals refurb work and ensure that a refurb plan within a minimum window of two weeks is prepared and circulated on a weekly basis · Plan and circulate the agreed refurb plan relating to any long term/ project requirements as and when required · Ensure that all buildings are handed over to the Fleet Controller at agreed time and in correct condition · Execute the refurb plan, record, monitor and process the operational requirements · Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your area of responsibility · Plan, communicate and execute the warranty plan within the agreed time and cost · objective · Ensure that the stores function is being controlled and that stock levels are minimised, yet an uninterrupted supply of material is available · Ensure that outstanding orders are expedited and that any potential problems are raised well in advance · Manage and report on redundant stock and corrective action · Stock integrity on the ACCPAC system · Daily, monthly, and quarterly stock counts and reporting · Ensure that the daily grading of all returns is done, and the ERP system is updated · Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures · Complete and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports · Ensure that all staff have been trained and signed off all operating instructions · Compliance to all reasonable instructions · Ensure that housekeeping standards are always maintained · Ensure compliance to all statutory regulations · Ensure compliance to all organisational Health and Safety code of conduct · Carry out inspections to ensure that material is stacked and handled correctly and safely · Record and control issues and ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment · Ensure daily/monthly departmental vehicles, tools and safety inspections Requirements · Grade 12 · Must have valid driver’s license (Minimum code 8) · Electrical qualification · Electrical Wireman’s License · Operation Management Qualification (Advantageous) · 3 Years’ management/co-ordination of teams · 3 Years electrical installation · COC testing and sign-off experience · 2 Years general maintenance (plumbing, carpentry, painting, etc.) experience · Sound Electrical Knowledge · Electrical installation/ COC sign-off · Planning/ Supervision/ Industry · Park home assembly and construction · ACCPAC knowledge · MS Office · Refurbishment/ use of hand tools Benefits Salary: salary negotiable If you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or emailing your CV to Hire Resolve at manufacturinghireresolve.za.com You are also welcome to contact Rebecca Grylls or Kayla Pelser on LinkedIn.
