Our client is looking for a Research and Development Technologist (R&D), you will be an integral part of the R&D team, contributing to the development and improvement of food ingredients. We are seeking a multilingual candidate with a passion for food science and innovation, who is eager to support our research and development efforts. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the creation of high-quality food ingredients for our customers. Responsibilities: Collaborate with the R&D team to develop and improve food ingredients. Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate the performance and quality of ingredients. Analyze data and provide insights to inform ingredient development decisions. Assist in the formulation and optimization of ingredient recipes. Support the scale-up and commercialization of new ingredients. Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements in food science. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations in the laboratory environment. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for ingredient innovation and improvement. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field. A minimum of 1 year of previous experience in a research and development role, preferably in the food industry. Fluent in English; French or Swahili is preferred. Knowledge of food science principles and experimental design. Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
