Research Technician - Nelspruit

• Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Agriculture
• Ideal: Master of Science in Horticulture
• Must have 5+ years' experience within a similar role
• Experience in applied horticulture work
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in data management and analysis
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills
• Duties:
  
  • Implement planned laboratory and field trials (setting up protocol, liaise with Researchers/other Technicians/students)
  • Prepare for trials (logistics, equipment, consumables, and mapping of experimental sites)
  • Conduct trials and data capturing and minimal statistical analysis
  • Assist in writing research reports and papers suitable for both internal reporting and publication and/or assist the Researcher with the same
• Must have a valid drivers license and own transportation
