RESTAURANT MANAGER – 5-STAR PROPERTY (PAARL REGION) HIGH PRIORITY We have a dynamic opportunity for a Restaurant Manager at a five star property in Paarl. The ideal individual is a hands-on, service orientated manager with previous experience in managing high-end properties. Strong operational skill-set relating to managing a profitable restaurant operation, with the ability to lead and continuously develop staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Minimum of 5 years management experience in a sophisticated / high-end restaurant environment. The key role is to oversee and manage the Food and Beverage operations. Requirements and Experience: Hospitality Management Qualification advantageous Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar environment and role Training and staff performance management ability Confident and excellent communication skills Hands-on approach to F&B operations Guest and service centric approach Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills Flexibility, adaptability Passion for the hospitality industry Own vehicle and valid driver’s license is essential Responsibilities: Responsible for the profitability of the restaurant Responsible for the inventory control (stock takes, back office stock control) Ensure food and beverage costings are in line with KPI’s Continues staff training and staff performance management Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations General administrative duties: staff rosters, time and attendance, managing bookings and enquiries Staff management and development Remuneration: R25 000 – R30 000 PICK ME RECRUITMENT www.pmrecruitment.co.za
