Restaurant Stock Administrator - Johannesburg
Establishment in the West Rand of Johannesburg is looking for a Stock Administrator.
Purpose of the position: Established Restaurant looking for a Stock controller. Applicants must have 4+ years relevant Restaurant & Bar stock control experience. Will be responsible for all stock management, receiving and ordering. Must has knowledge of how a Restaurant kitchen / storeroom works with regards to stock intake and issuing.
Duties:
- Load kitchen stock daily and monthly
- Load kitchen production and waste events on a daily basis
- Load waste events for the bar on a daily basis
- Record all internal transfers from the store room to the bar
- Load supplier invoices on a daily basis
- Variance reports to be sent on a weekly basis to both the kitchen and the bar
- Assist with ad hoc admin in the office as and when required
- Marketman clean up system, link recipes on all menu items, add in categories, cos prices, load and link new items, manage system
- Ikentoo manage system, clean up old stock, add new menus and menu items on system and changes made
- Training of waiters on Ikentoo and Bar staff on Marketman
- Update and maintain, both kitchen and bar stock count sheets,
- Go through weekly variance report with kitchen and bar managers to identify problems and fix them on Marketman
- Monthly stocktake reports to be sent to GM by the 5th of every month, including the following: inventory counts, monthly waste report, inventory count value report, booking summary
- Manage all bookings,
- Check in guests
- Manage stock levels and place orders for cleaning and consumables,
- Quote guests and ensure payments are up to date for all accommodation
- Ensure the rooms are clean and ready for all guests checking in
Skills, qualifications and experience
- Minimum matric
- Minimum 4 years experience related to the above
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Ikentoo Backoffice, Xero, Marketman, Nightsbridge and Digitott
