An exciting new opportunity exists for a Retail Field Sales Representative to join our homeware company. Located at the Design Quarter Shopping Centre in William Nicol Drive, this store promises to rival other homeware retailers. We are seeking a dynamic, vibrant person that is hungry to drive sales and source new clients. The successful person must have have experience in sales with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales goals. Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion Sourcing new clients Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers/clients Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers/clients daily Selling products and services to prospective customers Following up on potential sales leads and marketing of services and products Ability to reach/exceed target Generate and submit sales reports to management Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives Impeccable interpersonal communication skills Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends Familiarity with marketing strategies and consumer psychology Proficiency with the word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software Ability and willingness to travel locally to source new clients/reach sales objectives Retail experience Strong sales experience with track record of achieving/exceeding targets Drivers license and own vehicle Clear criminal record Basic salary of R6000pm plus lucrative commission (based on sales).
