A well established investment holdings company that has business interests in food retail and property management is looking for a qualified and experienced Accountant to join their team Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or Business Administration is required Min 3yrs general accounting experience, preferably having dealt in the food retail/FMCG industry Valid Drivers Licence with own car Advanced Excel skills Responsibilities: Fixed Asset Management Balance Sheet Reconciliations review Salary Control Account Reconciliations review Intercompany Loan balancing and review Interbranch Transfers balancing Management Account preparation and review of smaller entity accounts before submission for final review by FM Analyse complex financial reports and records Review journal entries of bookkeepers to ensure accuracy Train and mentor Junior Staff Assist the Financial Manager with forecasting reports Assist the Financial Manager with new company set up's VAT calculation and submission thereof Manage the Bookkeeping Team Strong leadership skills Attention to Detail Good communication skills Self starter Detail orientated and organized Desired Skills: Accounting processes VAT Month End
