From households, hunters, and restaurants to wholesale retailers and exports. We have one of the largest processing facilities in the southern hemisphere to supply our different outlets and customers with a wide range of biltong and meat products. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the retail operations which will include inventory management and customer service. They will be comfortable in providing support to various departments including sales, marketing, online, production, etc. REGION: Centurion Head Office OBJECTIVE: To assist in managing all areas of the retail outlet, to ensure the smooth running of operations to maximise sales, to set and exceed targets by driving marketing and sales initiatives that results in increased engagement and sales to drive business growth. Summary of duties (not limited to): Overall responsible manager of outlet/s, be present and making key decisions about stock and personnel, demonstrated ability to lead employees. Overseeing the bakery, butchery, perishables, liquor and grocery products. Manage staff, schedules, productivity, running costs, disciplinary measures, etc. Customer relations, services, orders, complaints, feedback, etc. Procurement: stock ordering, intake, analysis, evaluations, distribution, follow-up, product offerings, verifying and adjusting prices as needed, etc. Stock management: stock levels, FIFO, capturing, GP's, updating of system, etc. Minimizing returns, reworks and waste at store level, loss prevention procedures implementation. Understanding and enforcing GMP, GHP and Cold chain. Compliance with health and meat requirements and regulations. Ensuring overall cleanliness and hygiene of the outlet and butchery department. Overseeing and performing of hygiene, equipment, customer service, etc. training. Work together with the team, identifying possible training areas, implement training measures to ensure improvement in performance, providing training, coaching as needed. Interview and recruit prospective staff and reviewing staff as required. Assisting Marketing department with marketing the company and its products to further increase sales. Open and close outlet/s as required. Operationally involved to recommend improvements, strategies, sales goals, etc. Weekly and monthly reporting to Directors as required. Requirements: Min 5 years relevant and proven experience required. Min 3 years PO experience Valid driver's license Excellent communication skills High level of attention to detail Fast-paced environment Driven, go-getter, dynamic, team player Market related salary package.
