To support the Senior Reward Manager & Business Units in the implementation and management of Reward practices and processes within the Reward framework, legislation and market best practice by researching and presenting detailed Reward analysis and reports which help to inform decision-making . “We encourage people with disabilities to apply.” Job Management & Job Evaluation Participate in job evaluation committees, minute the discussions and record results Track and ensure that final Hay Points and shapes align to standard Hay Guide Chart principles Maintain the job evaluation registers and ensure sign-off Responsible for the on-going maintenance of the Group Job Matrix and alert the Senior Reward Manager of calibration concerns Custodian of Job Profile Management on the VIP System for the respective Business Units, ensuring timely data management and accuracy of job templates Liaise and work with HR in the respective Business Units responsible for the Position management to ensure that the job system is well managed and data integrity is such that reports are reliable and accurate. Coordinate Hay Training for the Group Reward Operations Provide support with Annual Increase processes, communicating timelines and guidelines to stakeholders Understand Reward policies, frameworks, practices, tools and processes to provide advice to the business where necessary Support the Senior Reward Manager and Business Units in the management of annual processes workbooks, calculations and reconciliations Prepare Reward analytics and reports when required. i.e. Pay scales Advise HR partners on Reward practice where required Participate in the development / improvement of training initiatives for roll-out in the Business Units Participate in the implementation of tools and systems in the Business Units Participate in the system evaluation, testing, training & roll-out of new systems and technologies Prepare Reward Proposals and review Banner Reward proposals for consistency where required Expatriate Administration Responsible for the administration of Massmart and Walmart expatriate benefits and costs. This includes liaising with e.g. third party service providers and Walmart Responsible for tracking and reconciling of rolling costs per expatriate for tax purposes Partner with the Senior Reward Manager, Payroll and tax consultants to ensure that the expatriate's tax affairs and matters are well managed Manage the monthly expat payroll process by partnering with Payroll and Deloitte to ensure accuracy of the expat payroll file submission to Deloitte every month for tax calculations. Liaise with survey houses for Cost of living and Quality of living indexes per country and update the expat compensation summaries and payroll input files for each country. Act as the go-to contact for Walmart expatriates with any assignment related concerns. Reward Analytics Analysis of the different components of Reward structures and schemes in the group. Prepare and present reports on internal equity and external competiveness. Take accountability for and run meaningful Reward related analysis, as required. Present the findings on the analysis in a logical and presentable manner. Reward Projects Support the Senior Manager in the management of annual processes Assist in various projects which may span over weeks, months etc. Salary Surveys Manage the relationship with the external Reward consulting companies. Map all Massmart jobs to external survey house job libraries to ensure job match accuracy Measure & sense check internal data accuracy and prepare and submit data files to survey houses within the required deadlines to enable the measurement of Massmart's Reward position against the external market Prepare and submit salary surveys Reward policies and procedures & SOPs Custodian for the preparation and recording of Reward Standard Operating Procedures. Must understand Reward policies, procedures and guidelines. Keep up to date with market trends and legislation changes Relevant Degree with 4 - 5 years Reward experience Certified GRP (Global Reward Professional) Experience in Expatriate management and Hay Job Evaluation a distinct advantage Advanced Excel skills Understanding of market Reward survey techniques and the interpretation of these surveys.
