Risk Controller (Retail) - South Africa
Responsibilities will include:
Stock Control:
- Set-up inventory count plan and oversee and manage cyclical and physical inventory counts ensuring accuracy and completeness per planned schedule;
- Conduct inventory counts at high risk areas and oversee results of all counts
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system inventory levels
Internal Audit:
- Ensure strong internal control environment & adherence to company processes and controls; Execute internal audit plans based on identified risks and control weaknesses
- Conduct financial and operational audits
- Liaise with cross functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress
Qualifications & Skills:
- Degree in Finance or similar discipline
- 2 Years experience in internal audit or stock control within the retail industry (ideal!)
- Fantastic analytical and problem solving skills
