Job Title: Risk Manager - Mining Location: Gauteng, South Africa Hire Resolve's Client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our mining team in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management within the mining industry and a proven track record of identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks to ensure the safety and success of our mining operations. Responsibilities: Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate risks within the mining operations Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and develop risk mitigation plans Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards Work closely with operations and engineering teams to ensure risks are properly identified and managed Provide training and support to staff on risk management processes and procedures Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies and adjust as necessary Prepare reports and presentations on risk management activities for senior management Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or related field Proven experience in risk management within the mining industry Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Certification in risk management or related field is a plus Benefits Salary: R2m - R2.2m Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
