Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: - Grade 12 with Safety Management Diploma / SAMTRAC certificate
- Valid drivers and willing to travel extensively to conduct store visits in allocated region
- Proficient on MS Office
- 3+ years experience in a risk or compliance related role (retail industry preferred)
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:- Proactively manage risk and identify, evaluate, monitor, investigate and aid the National Risk Manager to improve controls within the business to mitigate and eliminate any potential risk within the business
- internal audit monthly / quarterly assessments; risk reports; monitor controls for stock management; implementation of new policies or procedures
- Loss prevention attend regional stock takes and ensure that procedures are adhered to; investigate high value stock loss; stock count controls; manage / ensure that security systems are maintained; monthly crime report
- Personnel training staff & management regarding risk; ensure H&S team is in place; conduct meetings
