We are currently recruiting for a CERA Route Planner to join our dynamic team. Job Purpose The purpose of the Route Planner is to manage loads going in and out of CERA plant. Further to this, the Route Planner will be responsible to manage costs spend with transporters based on the agreed monthly rates. Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics. 3 or more years of experience in the field. Code EB driver's licence Personal Competencies Attention to detail. Strong analytical abilities. Strong geographical knowledge. Highly developed prioritising and multi-tasking skills. Strong sense of urgency. Systematic and structured approach to problem solving and decision-making; strong decision-making skills. Ability to use initiative and assume responsibility. Ability to function effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Hands on experience with warehouse & logistics management software and databases. Expertise in warehouse & logistics management procedures and best practices. Operations Daily planning of distribution Planning of bulk loads Administration Customer / Supplier Returns Reduced queries Monthly reports Finance Maintain costs to budget. Targets are achieved Compliance ISO 9000: 2015 and ISO 14001 Compliance to DPIM & 3PIM standards Special Projects / Intiatives Logistics Cost savings Market Related
