Our manufacturing client is looking for a Quality & Safety Systems Compliance Coordinator to join their team. The purpose of this position is to ensure that all Food Safety and Health & Safety systems comply with required standards. Key customers for this role would include Senior Management, Production Department, External Customers, Dispatch Department and the Technical Department. Working with multi-functional team's incl. management to develop, execute and conduct effective problem-solving techniques. Ensuring that Food Safety, Health and Safety, Environment and Quality standards are met and maintained at all times. Ensure that Standard and Safe Operating Procedures (SOPs) and any Laboratory Test Methods relative to this process, as laid out by Quality management requirements, are adhered to. Be conversant with and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards Reporting of any non-conformances to above standards. Grade 12 with Math's Proven work experience in the FMCG and packaging industry. Computer literate on Microsoft office. Food Safety training system experience. Audit training systems experience. HACCP – TACCP – VACCP system experience. ERP system experience is advantageous. Have a good understanding of safety rules and regulations as well as industry quality control requirements. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to work under pressure and possess effective time manangement skills. High levels of accuracy and numeracy. Able to work independently with little supervisions as well as in a close team environment when required.
