SAICA Trainee Accountant - South Africa
An Auditing firm based in Paarl holds an exciting opportunity for driven, highly motivated and passionate career entrants who wish to complete their SAICA Training Programme towards becoming a CA(SA) or AGA(SA). As a Trainee Accountant your duties will include: Preparing financial statements; Tax related queries and calculations; Performance of external audit and independent review engagements; Liaison with clients to answer queries relating to auditing, accounting, tax or secretarial related matters; Completion of training contract requirements Requirements: No work experience required, however, practice experience will be advantageous; Matric (with accounting as a subject); Accounting diploma and/or BCom Accounting Degree will be advantageous; Must be bilingual – Afrikaans and English; Valid Driver’s license. Skills: Strong computer literacy, especially MS Excel; Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills; Excellent analytical skills; Strong ethical values Ability to work productively under pressure; Strong work ethic; Able to work in a team environment.
