Medium-sized auditing firm based in Fourways is looking for SAICA Trainee Accountants. Candidates are required to have completed their SAICA accredited degree or be in the process of studying towards their SAICA accredited degree. Candidates will be expected to adhere to the SAICA requirements for trainee accountants. Duties and responsibilities include, but is not limited to: Completion of all preliminary engagement activities. Completing audit fieldwork along with working programmes and working papers. Completing relevant reconciliations where necessary. Ensuring compliance with The Companies Act, the International Standards on Auditing, IFRS and IFRS for SME's. Preparing completed engagement file (audit, review, or compilation) for manager review. Finalising the engagement and submitting for partner review. Candidates should: Have a SAICA Accredited degree (refer to https://www.saica.org.za/resources/51772 ) Study towards a SAICA Accredited degree. Be computer literate. Be English and Afrikaans fluent. Preferably have a driver's license and own transport. Be self-motivated with a hunger for knowledge and a willingness to learn. Salary is market related starting at R13,000 per month (cost to company). This is negotiable depending on the candidates work experience and level of qualification.
