Sales Account Manager (New Business) - Cleveland

The perfect candidate for the job is a salesperson who is highly motivated, confident, experienced, and well-organized. The ideal candidate must possess excellent prospecting skills and the ability to close deals by developing strong customer relationships. The candidate should be comfortable with client presentations and have prior B2B work experience. The primary responsibility of the salesperson will be to market and sell all the company's products and services to new customers, as well as cross-sell and upsell to achieve the agreed sales and service targets. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE and KNOWLEDGE: 3-year tertiary qualification (Degree / National Diploma) - NON NEGOTIABLE At least 3 years experience in a sales/business development role, preferably in Information Services/ Warehousing/ Logistics or a similar environment (i.e. Office Automation). Postgraduate qualification in business administration Account management experience in document management and archival-related or similar industry sales preferred. Computer literate (MS Office Suite) Must be a team player and be prepared to travel between sites/clients. Must have's B2B experience; Excellent track record in delivering high-level sales presentations; Excellent track record in meeting and exceeding monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; A flair and drive for sales; Hardworking and solutions driven; Business acumen and ability to communicate with senior to top management levels; Excellent organisational skills; Previous. experience in tender document preparation; Own a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (hunter). Provide purpose-fit solutions through an in-depth understanding of specific client needs relating to the services provided. Engage with clients regularly to maintain good relationships. Act as the primary contact for purposes of: negotiating prices within the parameters of the Authority Framework providing customised solutions problem/issue resolution Stay up-to-date and inform the Sales Manager/ Sector Head of changing market and competitor trends. Ensure adequate documentation and records management as defined within the customer's document retention strategy by informing customers of past due dates. Weekly sales statistics to the Sales & Service Manager/ Sector Head. Assist with preparing and presenting business proposals to new potential customers. Maintain close relationships with the Sector Head to capitalise on identified opportunities. Apply Now
