Job Title: Sales Account Manager (SADC)
Geographical area: Pretoria, Gauteng (Note, extensive travelling to SADC Countries)
Salary range: R 50 000.00 to R 60 000.00 CTC pm + travel expenses
The successful incumbent will be responsible for: - Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the SADC market effectively, focusing on company products
- Identify and evaluate potential markets, customers, and opportunities within the SADC region.
- Build routes to market from scratch, establishing distribution channels and partnerships to ensure market coverage and penetration.
- Conduct market research to understand local trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
- Travel extensively within the SADC countries to meet with potential clients, negotiate contracts, and build long-lasting relationships.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, logistics, and delivery of products to customers.
- Manage and oversee export agents, providing support, guidance, and training as needed.
- Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management review.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics affecting the SADC region.
Minimum qualifications and experience:- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is favourable.
- 5-10 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within the SADC countries.
- Demonstrated success in building routes to market and expanding business from scratch within the SADC region.
- Existing relationships and an established sales network within the SADC countries are highly preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the SADC region.
- Familiarity with export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.
