Job Title: Sales Account Manager (SADC)
Geographical area: Pretoria, Gauteng (Note, extensive travelling to SADC Countries)
Salary range: R 50 000.00 to R 60 000.00 CTC pm + travel expenses

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate the SADC market effectively, focusing on company products
Identify and evaluate potential markets, customers, and opportunities within the SADC region.
Build routes to market from scratch, establishing distribution channels and partnerships to ensure market coverage and penetration.
Conduct market research to understand local trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
Travel extensively within the SADC countries to meet with potential clients, negotiate contracts, and build long-lasting relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, logistics, and delivery of products to customers.
Manage and oversee export agents, providing support, guidance, and training as needed.
Monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and prepare regular reports for management review.
Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and market dynamics affecting the SADC region.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is favourable.
5-10 years of proven experience in sales, specifically within the SADC countries.
Demonstrated success in building routes to market and expanding business from scratch within the SADC region.
Existing relationships and an established sales network within the SADC countries are highly preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the SADC region.
Familiarity with export regulations, customs procedures, and international trade practices.
