Sales Administrator (Technical ) - Johannesburg

Overall purpose of Job:

  • Provide a professional and efficient first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive a first-class service while optimising sales
  • Support the commercial activities of the team, ensuring all information and processes are effective

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processing orders via email or phone
  • Checking data accuracy in orders, Invoices and quotes
  • Contacting clients for more information if required
  • Working from a price list to prepare quotations
  • Assisting customers with queries
  • Provide support for sales
  • Liaise with logistics/stores to ensure timely deliveries
  • Requesting prices from suppliers
  • Update sales records
  • Communicate important feedback from customers
  • Stay up to date with new
  • Invoice customers
  • Load new customers on SAGE
  • Process Proforma Invoices
  • Process New Inventory code requests
  • Process Purchase order request collaborate with buying and stores to ensure customers requirement can be fulfilled efficiently and profitable.
  • Filing
  • Waybills, labels and transport documentation for orders to be delivered
  • Quoting on Cla-Val products and buy-out products
  • Assisting walk in customers
  • Follow ups on quotations done on a daily basis
  • Contribute to high quality customer service and achieve sales targets

Skills and requirements:

  • Hardworking, trustworthy
  • Excellent communication skills English and Afrikaans
  • Hands on experience with Office and SAGE
  • Excellent Organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level pf dedication
  • Ability to work under deadlines and under pressure
  • Goal-orientated
  • Contribute to high quality customer service and achieve sales targets
  • Own Transport
  • Previous experience in sales environment
