The successful Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for the following but not limited to: Compilation and delivery of commercial and marketing strategyIdentifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets and driving commercial team in achieving targetsAchievement of defined goals and targets with regards to general business development, client servicing, PR and marketing initiativesTake a leadership role in promoting the efficacy of OoH by delivering Audience MeasurementIncreasing market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunitiesSupport the Development and Patrimony departments to grow and enhance our inventory for relevant content and contextDevelop ongoing thought leadership pieces to be published in various industry channels (Digital & Print)Although based in South Africa, extensive and frequent travel is envisaged for the effective undertaking of the responsibilities attached to this positionJob OfferMarket-related The ideal Sales and Marketing Director will fit the following profile:At least 5- 7 years of senior business development and marketing expertise within a multinational company operating in South Africa, preferably in the outdoor advertising industryAt least 10 years of sale/business development experience in the advertising industryMarketing Degree/ Diploma or equivalent BCom/IMMMust have Senior Managerial experience working in advertising agenciesA demonstrated track record of managing culturally and geographically diverse teams will be importantAction orientated and "hands-on" person with high energy levelsMust be results driven with the ability to translate concepts and strategies into concrete plansAbility to prioritise initiatives by understanding critical economic value drivers and which deliver the highest returns with lowest riskUnderstand the link between operational change and tangible financial results
