External Sales and Marketing Executive (Western Cape) Do you have a strong character and have experience working in industrial industry, construction, warehousing, mining etc. and are not intimidated easily? We are seeking a technically minded, accurate, individual who can make recommendations on the right product for the right application and can interact comfortably with all clients. Minimal Experience Grade 12 Sales and Marketing NQF 5 – 6 (an advantage) Computer literacy including Excel, Word and CRM experience an advantage Minimum 5 years working experience in sales & marketing field Experience in construction industry Fluent in English (spoken and written) Good managing and planning skills Good customer service and telephone communication skills Pastel Accounting software Customer Relationship Management software Marketing Strategies Sales Techniques Key Account Management Business to Business Sales Construction Sector Trends Customer Retention Principles Excellent presentation skills Requirements Actively search for new business and sales for the entire product range Actively promote and sell the entire product range to new and existing clients Achieve Profitability and Growth Targets - Overall Target % and Target % on Products Implement Sales strategy for growth within Southern Africa focusing on the entire product range Follow up on all sales leads Ensure strict 24-hour turnaround time on quoting for new business and follow up on all quotes submitted Quote on all tender invitations and submit within the deadline period, with necessary documentation Relationship building with specifiers, contractors and key customers Launch and implement new initiatives to improve sales Submit weekly & monthly reports on quotes, travel & clients visits Manage all sales jobs and/or projects Client Service General administration in the working environment Team responsibilities
