The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for management of the KZN Branch and to ensure that the branch achieves its sales growth strategy. You will work with the support of the Johannesburg Office, and have 3 direct reports in the KZN Branch, including 2 Training Officers. Requirements • Qualified as an artisan (Millwright, Electrical and/or Mechanical Fitter) • 3 years’ experience in the technical training environment (Not negotiable) • Familiarity with the SETAs, NAMB and QCTO administrative requirements • Relevant sales and marketing post matric qualification The incumbent may from time to time be required to attend a conference or client meeting outside of normal working hours. Job Description Marketing Create awareness about the brand in the KZN branch Create a network of clients and other related stakeholders Promote the company’s services in the market Collect relevant market intelligence and design a value proposition to clients Increase client base whilst retaining existing clients Attend relevant industry events and keep abreast of the developments in the industry. Expand service offerings from the current trades and programs. Ensure that feedback sessions are held with clients. Sales Convert leads into sales Ensure budgeted sales are met, even exceeded Ensure sales are achieved profitably Ensure enrolment is aligned to the available resources. Ensure that the training process is managed efficiently and effectively. On the job placements Create a database of companies that can host learners for the mandatory on-the-job training Ensure that the host-companies comply with the SETA and other relevant bodies requirements for hosting of learners. Where necessary, assist companies to comply with the requirements to qualify as approved workplaces Ensure that the learners achieve at least 80% of the prescribed training Visit host companies to ensure that feedback sessions are held and improvements are implemented, where necessary.
