The Sales Co-ordinator’s core focus it to support the work of the Sales team – to facilitate sales trips, business meetings, inbound visits from travel agents and operators, etc. This vital position in our Head Office requires strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication, and relationship building at the highest level, all in order to ensure that we exceed our purpose, which is “To give our guests a complete experience and a perfect stay.” MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Issuing new/ updated rates to the industry Updating the rates database Loading Agent profiles Trade show co-ordination Sales trip co-ordination (where required) Fam trip planning Site visits/ Fam trip reporting Consortia reporting Revenue reporting Hubspot custodian/ champion Compset research – updating compsets and advising on new updates in the industry Sustainability (both with properties and for updating the Sales team) REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS At least 2 years’ experience in a Sales, Reservations or a Front Office role in a luxury hotel or lodge environment A tertiary qualification in a relevant subject (Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality a distinct advantage) Previous experience using OPERA (Property Management System) preferred A good understanding of luxury brands Exceptional written and verbal communication with English as a first language Exceptional organisational skills with strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and highly responsive Team player It is important that the candidate is able to work as part of a team and is a good cultural fit for The Royal Portfolio.
