Sales Consultant required for a tool repair shop & multi - product supplier based in East London
Brief position overview:
Seeking a dynamic sales consultant to join the team at a tool repair shop and multi-product supplier. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service and have a passion for selling a diverse range of products including marine, motorcycle, power, 4x4 accessories, building materials, garden, and irrigation equipment.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Experience within an auto parts, spares and accessories company ESSENTIAL
- Previous sales experience in a retail environment, preferably in the automotive, marine or power equipment industry ESSENTIAL
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong product knowledge and technical aptitude, particularly in tools, machinery, and related accessories.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.

- Engage customers in a professional and courteous manner, assisting them in finding the right products to meet their needs.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of our diverse product range, including marine products, motorcycles, power equipment (lawnmowers, generators, water pumps), 4x4 accessories, building materials, garden, and irrigation products.
- Actively promote sales and upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Provide technical advice and guidance on product selection, usage, and maintenance to customers.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments and issuing receipts.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly displayed and stocked.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the business.
- Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings to remain competitive in the market.
- Assist in inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment, stocktaking, and ordering supplies.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including adherence to health and safety regulations.
