Aurogen South Africa (Pty) Ltd currently has vacancies for a 12 month contract as a Learner Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant in our Deatiling and Pharma Sales Team, based in Durban, Gauteng, Cape Town and Eastern Cape. ​​​​​​​Deatiling: The purpose of the Detailing Representative is to provide detailed scientific information about the products and therapies to appropriate (Client Base) experts by delivering key clinical messages so that brands are the ones they most prescribe and recommend. To follow the detail plan to all relevant clients. To grow and develop regions allocated to them and to achieve the set Script targets for the area. Pharma: Achieving 100% of set monthly, quarterly and annual sales, through effective Direct Selling & Detailing at Independent/Corporate Pharmacies and Scripting /Dispensing Doctors, within the KZN Coastal Region. Knowledge: Sales strategy within Independent/Corporate pharmacy and Dispensing Doctor environment. Microsoft office suite (eg. Word, Excel). Repwise/SSD/Impact Rx. Adobe Viewer Experience Minimum 1 to 2 years Pharmaceutical Sales experience. Previous Direct Selling experience at Independent and Corporate pharmacy levels. Previous Direct Selling experience and or Dispensing Doctor levels. Good understanding of Corprate pharmacy operations and Formulary listings. Previous experience in the Generic Market only Effective territory management. Analyze Impact Rx data. Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers Administration skills – ability to comply with the required administration standards associated with this position. Ability to work under pressure, to set priorities and to demonstrate time management skills. Knowledge of basic financial calculations. Creative and Flexibility – the ability to work in a changing environment and to adapt to different situations. Establishes and maintains positive relationships (mutual trust and respect) with customers and other stakeholders. Independent and Corporate Pharmacy's. Network with regional teams. Strong knowledge of the products & therapeutic areas in the healthcare/medical environment in South Africa. Good relationships with HCP's, Doctors, Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders Good territory management. To target and segment HCPs. Product Portfolio Scheduled pharmaceutical product experience is essential (preferably not OTC experience). Anti-infective, CNS, CVS, Respiratory, Anti-Diabetic, Anti-inflammatory & ARV's. Skills & Attributes: Customer focused, logical thinking, information seeking, punctuality, teamwork and report effectively, and efficiently handle the admin responsibilities.
