Within the overall strategic objectives of the company, the Sales Estimator Must be able to conduct roof material requirements calculations. Read plan drawings and do quotations thereof. Produce quotations with accuracy to be sent to the customer / roof truss manufactires. Conduct estimations and finalization of roof truss plans. Maintaining and build good customer relationships with various clients. Ability to climb ladders to do roof ad other building inspections. Other duties will be assigned as this is a unique and newly developed role. Manage and monitor building plans. Read drawings and roofing plans and generate quotations for customers. Conduct site visits and conduct estimations for the purpose of doing quotations. Service a small client base. Build relationships with exisiting customers and grow footpath in teh industry. Communicate with sales director regarding collation of there visits and data for the purpose of customer site visits. Proactively & aggressively seek solutions. Resolve sales representative and directors estimation complaints received by the clients. Prepare reports and truss manufacturer statistics for competitive advantage. Full function sales adminitrator. Follow ups with customers. Customer visits. Inspection of sites. Be effective with the nuse of the sales tracking new system by keeping all the records accurately and daily reporting thereof. Other duties bay be assigned. Travel from Cape Town to George and other coastal areas is part of the job function Matric Technical qualifications or Diploma (Quantity Surveying) advantageous. 5 years experiance in estimation quantity surveying of all roof coverings, slate, clau tiles, concrete tiles, fibre cement sheets and metal sheeting. Sales system experiance such as Skynamo, Sales force, etc 1 year in computer administration. 2 years experiance as a sales administrator. Experience working in the construction industry. Experience with working with peolple and buliding relationships. Experience workinh with deadlines and under pressure. Must have a valid drivers licence. Strong communication and presentations skills. Accuracy orientated. Pay attention to detail. Have an analytical mind set. Demonstrated ability to persuade a team. To be advised Apply Now
