Duties & Responsibilities This is a new business driven role, requiring hunting for new business (own leads to be generated as well as access to client database and also some leads coming in from vendors) Respond efficiently to enquiries for products and services and respond with appropriate information Contact potential clients to understand and quantify their requirements and budgets, and sell the advantages of the products and Services Prepare proposals and quotations for provision of Products and Services for potential clients Maintain up-to-date information on all customer interactions in the CRM Support the Managing Directors / Sales Manager / Sales Director in negotiating contracts Participate in marketing efforts at trade shows and conferences Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits Meeting annual sales goals and targets Producing monthly sales reports Delivering presentations of the company products and services at conferences, customer sites and exhibitions Monitoring and reporting the potential collaborators and competitor activities and identifying business threats and opportunities Attending and participating in sales meetings Managing sales pipeline Manage sales orders and provide status to partners and/or manager Provide feedback from members and potential customers to enhance product performance and service delivery Identify and make contact with potential customers Ensure effective internal communications both within the Sales, Customer Support and Marketing team and across the organization; Seek to continuously improve member relations with particular regard to the provision of efficient communications to facilitate product development and issue management Report to and meet with the Head of Sales at a minimum of once per week Understand the market in which the company operates and how the company’s products and services are used within that market Identify new markets, both geographical and by industry sector, for company products Ensure that company has an in depth understanding of the users of company products and their ongoing needs Channel Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales and total partnership potential through sales best practices, training and support Manage sales orders and provide status to partners and/or manager Create systems and procedures to streamline partner management Desired Experience & Qualification Matric Sales / Marketing Diploma or similar Own transport Solid experience (5 - 10 years) in a business development role Software or technology sales experience - beneficial (specifically within IT security / backup solutions / antivirus etc) Cold calling experience Prospecting Opportunity identifying and qualifying Managing customer relationships Direct sales Developing product sales / solutions into written proposals Presenting solutions / quotations Must be well spoken and able to deal with high level decision makers in professional business environments Must be meticulously organised Must work efficiently and keep management informed of pipeline Manage all aspects of sales and marketing process No job hoppers Mature self-managed individual who can drive sales and report to managment proactively APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: Sales track record to be included with application Package & Remuneration Join a well established IT company Competitive Salary plus commission An opportunity to be recognised and rewarded for hard work Great Team Great Management Fantastic rewards / commission structure Cash incentives (performance based) and performance bonus PLEASE APPLY ONLINE Consultants cannot access emailed applications Apply Now
