Our busy client in the freight industry is looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join their team
Minimum requirements:
Matric
5 - 7 Years Sales experience in a similar industry (freight forwarding)
Contribute to the sales forecast per region and per product range by gathering information, engaging with management, evaluating clients and opportunities and developing personal forecast in line with business sales forecast strategy, annually with quarterly revisions
Meet sales targets by evaluating pipeline, understanding specific markets and opportunities, engaging with team members and aligning with sales forecast at all times
Contribute towards sales team morale and delivery by sharing experiences, identifying challenges, suggesting solutions and working as a team to meet and even succeed sales targets that are set annually and quarterly
Address after sales support requirements by responding to questions or issues, resolving and providing feedback as required
Support delivery against sales promises by maintaining effective communication between sales and operations, identifying opportunities and risks, suggesting solutions and communicating with stakeholders (Operations and Clients) efficiently and within deadlines
Manage delivery against customer expectations by identifying customer priorities and expectations, managing that service offering and delivery meets customer needs, addressing potential challenges and resolving customer issues timeously
Maintain customer relationships by meeting with them, discussing previous sales and opportunities, understanding their business development and needs and presenting solutions that are mutually beneficial at all times and as required
Resolve customer complaints and queries by receiving information, investigating, resolving with internal stakeholders and providing feedback within agreed timelines
