Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Profiling and qualifying prospective business to secure clients Securing regular customer appointments with prospective, new and existing business Ensuring and maintaining a strong sales pipeline Preparing proposals and quotations Securing new business and ensuring that a balance between profitability and volume development is achieved and payment terms are according to Company policy Attending to administrative tasks on new accounts Ensuring effective implementation of new business, by ensuring that SOP / F&C and Rates are in place and operations clearly understand their roles and responsibilities so that start up is successful Being accountable for 12 months (from date of first shipment) for maintaining efficient customer service levels with new customers Assisting with the establishment and development of branch sales strategies and programmes Ensuring individual and business targets are achieved (monthly/quarterly/annually) Ensuring that all management reports are completed, as per outlined KPIs To apply immediately for this position click here: www.unique.co.za/candidate_registration_1.aspx?JobID72608&referrerUnique Inherent Requirements Skills required: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar position within the freight forwarding environment Graduate or post graduate Diploma Business Management with major in Sales and Marketing would be advantageous Project sales experience Proven commercial understanding of the Freight Forwarding industry within a sales environment Ms Office, advanced Excel and Power Point skills Advanced presentation skills, especially the ability to structure a presentation to address a client needs Proven experience in building relationships across customer, supplier, industry sectors and operational functions Strong Financial acumen and accuracy with figures Highly motivated and a self-starter Effective time-management skills Highly efficient and creative at solving problems What Qualification Graduate or post graduate Diploma Business Management with major in Sales and Marketing Minimum Qualification Diploma Status Available Apply Now
