Purpose: A financial services company that deals with funding SME's is seeking a Sales Executive who will be responsible for driving the sales process on any leads that are generated through online applications, direct queries from merchants and leads issued through the partnership channel, or self-sourced from the existing CRM system or from the market, engagement with customers is primarily via telephone and email, occasionally face to face Key Job Outputs: Drive pipeline stage targets to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets of the company cash advance and other ancillary products, within the pricing parameters set Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders and prospects on a continuous basis to maximise sales Use calls, marketing material and automated nurturing to achieve front of mind position with prospects, keep on top of follow ups and keep the pipe ‘clean' Monitor trends in the market and with prospects, to bring insights to management and the sales team Either prospect from the company CRM system or receive customer applications that are generated via internal channels and treat efficiently and with respect Explain the product and qualifying criteria and understand clients' needs to pitch the value proposition appropriately Screen merchant's financial viability, manage expectations, obtain credit related documents from the prospect, and follow all administrative process requirements Decline or prepare quotation (price, deal value) based on credit info and insight at this stage of the sales process Ensure that all agreed objectives and expectations with the prospect are achieved Ensure accurate preparation of the credit pack for presentation to the underwriting department, summarising the following: Details of credit application, including details of reference checks and investigation into the personal characteristics of the applicant Assessment of merchant statements and bank statements of credit applicant Summarise “probing questions” to clients on transactions and behaviours Recommendation to credit on price, term, and value of the deal Maintain and update the CRM system (sales force) accurately and timeously including: Loading of relevant fields for new and existing clients Ensure follow ups and details per interaction are recorded Core Competencies: Strong performance drive Strong sales and closing skills Strong customer orientation Business acumen Keeps up to date with field of expertise and uses such knowledge effectively Use all the resources at your disposal to be able to answer questions and deliver on promises Excellent verbal and written communication Process orientated Qualifications: Business Management Diploma or similar (advantageous) Experience: 3 years' relevant work experience in a sales environment Financial and Merchant service experience (advantageous) Salary: Market related Should you not hear from us within 2 weeks, kindly consider your application as unsuccessful.
