Sales Executive, New Business Logistics - Bryanston

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: Develop Logistics Sales Division within South Africa for a global logistics company. Analyze the market trends and competitors within the logistics industry in order to identify new business opportunities and increase market share Identify specific needs of customers and provide logistics consulting services to optimize solutions – especially in the freight forwarding market. Special focus on Imports and Exports Prepare quotations, tenders, bidding, Request for Quotation and Request for Information, as per customer demands. Develop and exchange sales leads with other subsidiaries globally Cold calling of clients Competencies: Strong back ground and proven success in the Logistical sales environment – Freight Forwarding – min 5 – 7 years. Strong assertive individual with the ability to challenge the status quo (with strong business acumen) Problem solving skills Ability to liaise with all stakeholders Strong analytical skills Can do attitude and “the ability to hit the ground running” Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Must be a team player and self-sufficient Must pay great attention to detail, work methodically and accurately QUALIFICATIONS: Matric Exemption EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 year experience in Logistics Sales KPA / MAJOR TASKS: High quality work output Ensure sales targets are met Process innovation Display strong leadership skills Basic excel skills and meticulous Flexible on working hours Apply Now
