We are seeking a talented and motivated Sales Executive to join our team. The Sales Executive will play a key role in driving sales growth, building strong relationships with retailers, and expanding our market presence in South Africa. The ideal candidate must have a passion for children's products, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing key accounts. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share. Identify and prospect potential retail partners, including independent stores, chains, and online retailers. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new retail clients, providing excellent customer service and support. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, understanding their business needs and requirements. Develop and implement tailored account management strategies to maximize sales opportunities and foster long-term partnerships. Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts to assess performance, address issues, and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams, including product development and marketing, to ensure alignment with key account strategies and objectives. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify new opportunities and threats. Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. Proven experience in sales, particularly in managing key accounts, preferably in the consumer goods or retail industry. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with a track record of closing deals and achieving sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients. Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to sales. Familiarity with the children's products market and retail landscape in South Africa is a plus. Experience in account management and developing customized solutions to meet client needs. Ability to analyse data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
