Reference: JHB001732-JS-4We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for a Sales Internship opportunity based in the Ekurhuleni area within the Mining/Manufacturing sector. This 12-month program will provide valuable hands-on external sales experience, working alongside the sales team to contribute to the growth of the organisation. The successful candidate will need to have completed or currently completing a tertiary qualification as listed below. Applicants who have taken part or completed an internship previously will not be considered Duties and Responsibilities Assist the sales team in day-to-day activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and client follow-up. Calling prospective customers for selling products and services. Building relationships with new and existing customers. Conducting daily telesales and cold calling. Assist in constantly achieving sales targets. Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, providing product information, and addressing customer concerns. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients, industry trends and potential sales opportunities. Support the sales team in preparing presentations and sales materials. Attend sales meetings and shadow experienced sales professionals to gain hands-on experience. Collaborate with team members on various sales and marketing projects. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions. Requirements Must have a valid driver's license. A tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, supply chain/ logistics Management or relevant field is essential. Must reside within the Ekurhuleni area, preferably Boksburg / Benoni / Kempton Park / Germiston. Sales experience will be beneficial. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong public speaking and presentation skills. A passion for sales and a desire to pursue a career in this field. Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative environment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Benefits Hands-on experience and exposure to the sales industry.
