Sales Manager - Midrand

We are seeking an experienced and goal-driven Sales Manager to lead our talented team of sales professionals to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.

As a Sales Manager, your goal will be to build long-term relationships with customers to ensure the success and sustainability of the organization's sales efforts.Â

What you’ll do:

  • Managing product/service pricing and margins
  • Manage the company CRM system and sales reporting from CRM system
  • Assist with tender response and compliance
  • Managing accounts and meeting or exceeding targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin, mix of products and services, sales, customer retention and customer acquisition.
  • Validating, responding to and managing incoming Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs) in a professional and creative manner.
  • Working with and expanding current potential client database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads exceed sales targets for the business.
  • Adhering to all quality standards and processes, for the acquisition of customers, opportunities and submission of tender and contract documents.
  • Bid management processing, managing order levels and maintaining the CRM database.
  • Providing regular feedback to senior management regarding sales activities.
  • Developing effective working relationships with customers through regular meetings and identifying and obtaining further sales and business development opportunities.
  • Applying standard operating procedures in preparing bids, responding to customer needs and managing the sales process form opportunity identification to customer sign off.
  • Managing the sales and sales support employees (Sales Executives) by leading and coaching them and assisting where required with proposals and presentations.
  • Performing additional work outputs related to the role.

Your expertise:

  • Function-related experience:Â 5 years plus experience in Business Development
  • Leading teams:Â 5 years plus
  • Projects experience:Â 5 years plus
  • Other experience:Â 5 years in Microsoft Office and relevant industry experience

Qualifications:

  • Matric Certificate
  • Sales Degree or equivalent
  • Business Management Degree or equivalent

  • Work Environment: Office (occasionally) and Client Sites / Regionals / Africa
  • Travel: Weekly travel to client sites
