The job incumbent is responsible for the development of the organisation's account business within his/her geographical area of responsibility in line with company's policies, procedures and target as relayed by management and GSL. He/she must perform the job within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, the Code of Ethics, and the BV Group policy Duties and Responsibilities Propose a Sale and marketing strategy for the activity in line with GS & BV TISA objectives. Retaining and growing the business and the customer portfolio in his area of responsibility. Ensure appropriate and on time quotations and invoicing. Package professional and apparently customized winning proposals, leveraging the group international resources. Management of customer relationships. Overseeing pre- to post-sales support activities while guaranteeing the greatest level of client satisfaction. Recognize customer needs and provide insights for improving the service portfolio based on interactions with and feedback from customers. Management of key accounts. Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes. Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with sales team to set objectives and monitor progress. Set up the reporting tools. Establish business development targets with customers/new customers and monitor progress. Acquirees and maintains good knowledge of the VOC market. Contributes to the technical and commercial development of VOC. Contributes to the good co-ordination between BV technical services and the customer (customer care). Reports to Customer care team any issue raised by exporters regarding their current files. Close contact with clients especially in case of claims / inspection team / commercial team. Ensure all sales activities such as meeting, proposals, opportunities, sales, and revenue are ALWAYS captured and reported in Sales Force. Marketing sales targets (new business, existing business volume) Contribution margin development. Meeting customer visit frequency objectives. DSO (Debt recovery, financial risk management). New program implementation (timing and accuracy) and market share. Development of customer and product portfolio in his/her area of responsibility. Portfolio performance. Support provided to the BU. Cross division cooperation/selling. Marketing: Do research on the countries potential and identify potential project and niches. Contribute to develop Case studies to develop business internationally. Provide reliable information on competition situation. Prepare presentations and material to best illustrate the group competences, resources, experiences. Ensure knowledge management (develop toolbox, proposal template, presentation template, references, resumes databases, pricing tools) Identify good practices across geographies and sectors. Promote the BV product portfolio. Coordinate internal and external communication and develop sales-stimulating activities (i.e. direct mail, telemarketing, seminars, and conventions…) Support the development of existing sales information systems as well as the sales information. Participates in the set-up of the Customer satisfaction survey and its analysis. Management: Management of the VOC Sales team (Sales, invoicing, and collection) Ensures that the sales team: . is competent to perform the jobs assigns (Recruitment, training, qualifications, supervision) . is familiar with the key principles of requirements of each VOC program in relation with its job. . Consults Connections for update of VOC procedures/specifics and other VOC contracts site if available Follow-up of procedures and check quality of workflow Set up, implements, monitors KPIs and dashboard. Ensures regular reporting and review of his/her activity with the Line Managers and Management Reports immediate discrepancies and difficulties met in reaching quality goals/time schedules to Office Manager and Southern Africa GS Regional Manager. Qualification Degree in Sales/Marketing or related qualification. Experience Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a targeted sales driven environment and or in similar related Industry. Strong relations in the industry and a strong network of leads. Understand the sales and marketing processes in the large account sector. Competencies Very good listening skills. Presentation, convincing, management skills. Ability to cope well under pressure and to deal with difficult situations. Experience of working internationally and/or in a multi-cultural environment. Quickly able to become knowledgeable of the GS Services and more broadly of the BV domains and network. Proven project management skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Analytical skills. Computer literate and proficient in All Microsoft packages. Knowledge and competences in digital marketing will be an advantage.
