Reference: JHB001294-YK-1 Our client in the Earthmoving industry seeks a Sales Manager. That's the liaison between the company and the customer. The Sales Manager has to ensure constant contact with the customers and search for new customers. He must be up to date with the latest innovations and improvements on his area of Yellow equipment, and fully trained to promote the correct machine in the correct configuration to the customer. He needs to ensure prompt and accurate information in an efficient way to the customers at all times. Requirements: Matric with 4-5 years of experience in customer service and sales. Higher Certificate/Diploma in Sales /Marketing would be an added advantage Roles and Responsibilities: Sell machines and achieve target sales Responds to sales enquiries and is in contact with existing customers. Research the market and find new opportunities and customers and exploit it. Ensure he is technically knowledgeable and up to date with the innovations and technology on yellow machines, to promote and configure the correct machines to the customers. This technical ability is required to compile offers, assist with feasibility studies, and complete the technical requirements on Tenders. Liaises between the admin department and factories about configurations, lead times, pricing, availability, and deliveries. Gives monthly feedback reports on sales calls and results. Actively participates in brainstorming and budgets and gives as much input from the customer's side as possible, to assist the department in growing and improving.
