We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager to lead a team of 12-20 loan application specialists. You'll be responsible for actively managing and optimising the sales pipeline , ensuring efficient conversion rates and propelling the business towards ambitious sales targets. IMPORTANT: This is a hands-on role where you'll be deeply involved in the day-to-day operations. You'll not only guide and motivate your team, but also actively monitor the progress of loan applications throughout every stage of the pipeline. Hands-on Pipeline Management: You'll be the expert on the sales pipeline, analysing conversion rates , identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency. Data-Driven Sales Strategy: Analyse customer data to create a winning sales strategy that fosters long-term growth, surpasses sales quotas, and leverages the existing customer base. Building a High-Performing Team: Motivate and coach your team to consistently achieve their targets. Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure everyone has the skills needed to succeed. Mentorship and Onboarding: Be a dedicated mentor to individual team members, fostering a supportive and positive work environment. Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new hires. Performance Management: Set clear objectives and track individual and team performance metrics. Analyse data to identify trends and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sales Manager Proven track record of managing a sales pipeline and optimising conversion rates Strong analytical skills to identify performance bottlenecks and create data-driven solutions Exceptional leadership and team management skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate, influence, and coach at all levels Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment Previous knowledge of credit laws and regulations (a plus) Experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, and collections (a plus) This role is perfect for a hands-on sales manager who thrives on data-driven decision making and enjoys building a winning team.
