The role requires the incumbent to call on existing and new vendors in a designated geographical area in order to maximize sales, optimize GP`s, grow and maintain the customer base and increase market share. • Grow and maintain customer base; • Maximize Sales; • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers; • Optimize GP`s; • Maintain expenses within set guidelines and budgets; • Liaise with sales team to ensure orders are delivered on time; • Enhance service and quality guarantee; • Promote positive teamwork; • Ensure compliance with the Occupation Health and Safety Standards. • Grade 12 or equivalent • Diploma in Sales / Marketing will be advantageous • At least 3 years' external sales experience in the retail industry
