ALPA To service customers by selling products that meet the customer's needs. Have sufficient knowledge to refer the correct product for the correct customer application. Continuously research and read up on new products in the market place and know the competitors' products and price points. Build good relationships with clients and represent Air Filter Maintenance Services in a positive, professional manner Include the following but are not limited to the job specifications contained herein. Additional duties or job functions that can be performed safely may be required as deemed necessary by supervisory personnel. Customer Focus Provide excellent customer service by meeting and exceeding the client's requirements as per their requests. Provide the customer with a quotation as per company requirements. Specifically, responsible for meeting with the customer to resolve any issues i.e., Providing clients with one-to-one or one-to-many customer service as needed. Maximizes customer operational performance by providing help desk resources and technical advice, detecting, and diagnosing new/possible problems. Handle queries and resolve problems within the sphere of control. disseminating advisories, warnings, and new techniques Resolve customer issues within the desired time frame and follow up on customer queries, complaints, etc. Determines customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers. Assist the Sales Manager in planning. Listen to customer requirements and present appropriate to make a sale. Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and e-mails. Cold calling to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business. Respond to incoming e-mails and phone inquiries. Challenge any objectives to get the customer to buy. Create detailed documentation often as part of a bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer. Make accurate, rapid cost calculations and provide customers with quotations. Meet monthly and quarterly/annual targets. Service existing accounts obtain orders and establish new accounts. Plan and organize daily work schedules to call on potential customers. Adjust the content of sales presentations by studying the type of customer being called on. Submit orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Prepare professional quotes with sufficient backup literature to assist customers in planning. Check customer orders against the original quote and amend any discrepancies. Liasing between Sales Support, Logistics and Finance and follow up those deliveries have happened, or orders are placed for items that are not in stock. Consistently check stock levels and determine when orders for stock need to be placed on International Suppliers, forecasting the needs over the next 6 months. Deliver excellent customer service. Keep Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitor competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc. Recommend changes in products,services, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions; preparing reports; and making recommendations to management. Review professional publications; establish personal networks to maintain professional and technical knowledge. Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
