Reference: PMB001051-LF-1 Sales Representative – Cape Town Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Representative with a ‘can do' attitude to join their professional team. Responsibilities: Building sound customer relationships (ongoing) Technical advice and training – including presentations Checking batteries, voltages, and SG's Measuring of battery compartments for forklifts and other Soliciting new customers Servicing existing customers and accounts Handling of customer complaints and queries. (Cradle to grave) Management of budgets – sales and expenses Meeting sales targets and deadlines Compile quotations, negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions Reviewing cost and sales performance Ability to manage all aspects of the role, prioritize and multitask Forecasting of sales opportunity and pipeline, customer progress reports Follow-up on deliveries Requirements Grade 12 Diploma in Sales and Marketing or N3 Electrical Engineering 2 - 4 years' related sales experience in the material handling sector is essential Computer literacy (MS Excel and Word) Valid Code 08 driver's license PSS course, technical testing and workings of battery Good sales track record Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure Sales closing skills, attention to detail Ability to work towards and meet budget Lithium-ion battery technology knowledge will be beneficial Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
