Location: Centurion Our client is a family business which has been operating successfully for over four decades and has experienced role models with an extensive knowledge of the building industry both from a contracting and a supply point of view. They are looking for a Sales Representative to join the family Duties: Visit and service clients on a regular basis Managing and updating the customer database Securing specification of the company's products on building projects Grow clientele and generate new business Grow the company brand in the market Use the lead generation tools to sell company products Use software and work method defined by the company to generate specification, actively canvass for new business Complete and submit tender documents and quotes as per client's requests Accurate presentation of information and reports at periodic intervals as called for by the Branch Manager Networking and representing the company Skills Required: Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in English Committed to and driven to achieving results Strong selling skills Time management, planning and organising skills The ability to work as part of a sales team Customer focused attitude Ability to listen and interpret information Passionate about the building industry and creating environments Minimum requirements: Own your vehicle – in good working condition Grade 12 Sales experience 5 years or more Valid Code 10 Drivers Licence Computer literacy, including Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint & SYSPRO Experience in the building industry and/or sales experience Product knowledge would be advantageous 13 th cheque dependant on company performance Penson Fund/Co contribution Travel allowance Travel reimbursement based on submitting a logbook and car value (Own Vehicle required) Phone Allowance
