Together with our client, a logistics company we are recruiting for a Sales Representative - Road Freight based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate must have 4 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in the road freight/logistics industry. Duties and Responsibilities: Sourcing and establishing new clients;Maintaining business relationships;Maintain a strong customer service attitude;Assist and resolve queries in the operations and accounts department as and when required;Developing and presenting proposals for potential and existing clients;Providing training and assisting customers with the Company track and online websiteAchieving monthly budgets; Both Existing and New business budgetCompleting daily CRM reports;Ensure all clients are visited within 40 days;Growing existing business cross-selling with existing clients;Assisting the debtor’s department with the collection of outstanding monies as and when required;Printing of waybills and labels, if required;Innovating new business opportunities;General contribution towards sales team;Assistance in the customer service department as and when required;Dealing with all relevant warehouse queries in a friendly and courteous manner;Ensure that timeous quotes are given to all customers and that they are accurate and up to date; Qualifications: Level 4 equivalent to standard 10 / grade 124 - 5 years of sales/marketing experience in road freight/logistics Skills: Knowledge of Company standards and procedures, processes and systems.Communication skills and telephone etiquetteTechnical CompetenceCreative thinkingDetail-orientedCustomer Service DrivenComputer SkillsOrganized, Fast ThinkerProblem SolverHard working, Reliable Salary: R 25 000.00 – R 30 000.00 CTC per monthMedical AidPension Fund Only candidates who meet all the requirements stipulated in this advert, will be considered.
