Sales Representative - Spartan, Kempton Park A vacancy has arisen for a Sales Representative, in Spartan, Kempton Park. The purpose of the position: The person will be responsible for the sales process, with the aim to increase the company's market share and meet sales targets. Contacting and meeting existing and potential clients to discuss their needs and see how best we can provide a service / product that meets their needs and demands. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Develop strategy for product instroductions. Liase with other company functions to ensure achievement of sales objectives. Develop sales presentations and proposals. Provide feedback and support to internal and external stakeholders. Build an ethical and professional brand management in the market place. Investigate lost sales and customer accounts. Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales revenue. Generate timely sales reports and client visits. Assist in budget preparation. Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis. Analyse data to identify sales opportunities. Propose promotional ideas and materials. Cutlivate effective business relationships. Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how these can be met by specific products. Answer customer queries relating to products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms. Negotiate prices and terms of sales and service agreements. Maintain customer records using automated systems. Follow up on all laboratory test requested. Identify prospective customers. Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit for processing. Assist with deliveries as and when required. Assist with the collection of debts. Participate in stock takes. Liase with designers on packaging, websites etc. Ability to calculate, understand and communicate costings, margins etc. Minimum Requirements Completed Grade 12 Computer literate (especially Excel) External sales experience may be advantageous. Experience in Key account management in the coatings or chemical industry may be advantageous. Experienced in selling in an industrial/manufacturing environment may be advantageous. Technical Skills Mathematically proficient to understand and communicate commercial terms (costings, margins, etc.) Excellent listening and verbal communication skills Tecnically minded Ability to build and maintain strong people relations Ability to set high goas/standards of performance for self Excellent attention to detail Self-organized Ability to mutli-task in in fast in fast-paced dynamic environment Remuneration Package Basic Salary Commission earnings Basic Salary range R20,000 to R35,000 per month Commission structure as a percentage of GP to be discussed Apply Now
