We are seeking to appoint a SAP ABAP Developer. The candidate will report into the Applications Portfolio Manager (ERP). Please note this is an office based role in Roodepoort, Lea Glen. Job Purpose: Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP Web applications. Key Performance Areas: • Design and develop SAP applications using the FIORI programming language. • Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP issues in a timely manner. • Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance. • Provide technical support and training to end-users. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP FIORI, SAP's Low-code, No-code tools and RPA's Skills: • Advanced FIORI coding • FIORI Catalog • Building CDS views • Calling SAP API's • SAP Portal development • SAP IAS Configuration • Writing Technical Specifications for Developers to follow • Writing Test Specifications and executing testing against them Knowledge: • SAP IAS Configuration • Writing Technical Specifications for Developers to follow • Writing Test Specifications and executing testing against them Personal Competencies: • A Deliverer • Analytical • Problem Solver • Sees the Big Picture • Analysing and interpreting • Creating and conceptualising • Adapting and Coping Minimum Education & Qualification: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (strongly advisable) • Systems Design certificate or training. Minimum Job Related Experience: Essential: • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP S4HANA FIORI development. • Experience in researching, interpreting, and applying SAP Notes. • Logging and managing SAP tickets / calls. • Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules. Desirable: • SAP FIORI certification. • Experience in working in with SAP S4 Extended Edition / Private Cloud / HEC) • ABAP Development • Experience in Pharma, Logistics, or Wholesale & Distribution Industries. • Familiarity with SAP CPI N.B: We endeavor to provide feedback to all candidates whenever possible, however, if you don't hear from us within 14 days from the closing date, please consider your application unsuccessful.
