Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Advanced) - Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office Rotation Amazing brand with cutting edge technology Excellent teams in Global team collaboration High work-life balance with Flexible hours Agile working environment POSITION: Contract until December 2026 COMMENCEMENT: As soon as possible ROLE: Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP SD Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate, and document customer requirements Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements Map client business requirements, processes, and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients' needs Design, customize, configure and testing of SD Identify gaps, issues, and work around solutions Document functional designs, test cases and results Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members. Important: A clear criminal record is required. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE South African citizens/residents are preferred. IT Degree and/or relevant qualifications / years of experience ESSENTIAL SKILLS Technical Skills / Technology: SAP SD / (FI) ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 7 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects. Minimum of 7 years designing and configuring SD modules. Must be able to read and debug ABAP code Experience in a Professional Services or Distribution company is an asset Understanding of accounting business processes Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective Must be results oriented
