My international client presently has an exciting opportunity for a SAP MM Technical Consultant to join their growing team, kindly submit all applications to Kyle.Govendermediro-ict.co.za WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES? Technical and functional refinement and breakdown of requirements (Epics, User Stories) in Material Master for the European as well as for the Overseas plants (e.g. China) Development of new Material Master functionality (in S/4 or ECC) focus will be on integration technologies Development of new Add-on Functionalities (Backend and Frontend) Testing Automated: Abap Unit test Tosca (Frontend / E2E Tests) Manuel: Developer Test Functional Tests (in Confluence Xray) Migration and Rollout for Material Master across all production plants (ECC > S4) Operations (3rd level) and 2nd level (24/7) – you build it you run it WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE? Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or similar qualification 5 years' experience as an SAP logistics developer 3 years' experience as an SAP MM developer 1 years' experience as an SAP functional consultant As a developer it is crucial to understand business processes and business requirements. Thus, there should be at least: At least 2 years' experience in Material Management (MM), with particular focus on Material Master ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Technical – Development At least 5 years' experience in ABAP Development (Backend) At least 2 years' experience with Enhancements and Modification Enhancement Framewrk (Enhancement Points) User exit / Customer Exit BAdIs (Business Add-Ins) At least 3 years' experience in Integration Technology (Idocs and Odata) At least 3 years' experience in ABAP Development (Frontend, e.g. Dynpro, WebDynpro SAP UI5/Fiori) At least 2 years' experience with Object orientated programming in SAP: ABAP Objects (Classes, interfaces, methods) Autmated Testing (ABAP Unit tests) At least 2 years' experience with SAP Transport / Transport management (Soloman / Charm, Calm) Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Overall MM knowledge Good understanding of the Product Master within S/4 Operation experience Experience with Hana / S4 technology e.g. CDS views (SAP Gateway) Agile Framework experience e.g. scrum Basic understanding of Streaming technologies such as Kafka Salary Market Related
