Role Summary: The SAP Solution Architect will lead projects in the requirement definition and solution design phases and will be responsible for the overall solution design. The architect will also provide oversight into the build phase of projects ensuring the technical quality and the solution meets the business requirement. A thorough understanding of the full software development life cycle and SAP specific methodologies is required. Qualifications / Certifications required: BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar; Proven experience managing and leading teams; SAP S/4HANA certifications? ITIL experience – a plus; Experience required: Highly proficient in the SAP S/4HANA Technology areas: non-functional requirements, solutioning, technology architecture, infrastructure Highly knowledgeable in the public / private Cloud space: ECC to cloud migration, S/4HANA cloud transformation, smart field migration and digital transformation Integration knowledge to other technology areas and the impact on SAP cloud such as development, extensibility, integration, security, user experience Have at least 5 years of SAP consulting experience with Delivery of an end-to-end design and implementation as the main focus Have at least 3 cycles of end-to-end SAP implementation delivery SAP S/4HANA related certification(s) will be an added advantage Minimum of 5 years selling/closing and/or delivering deals in Services space in one of the following areas: Cloud enablement and migration, Managed IT Services, IT Service Management. Expertise in Public Cloud (IaaS/PaaS), Data Center Services, Network, and IT transformation Responsibilities of role: Development of solution architecture artifacts to address stakeholder concerns; Interface with the business community and provide ongoing status reports; Monitor compliance and related guidance (such as data retention and audit requirements) to determine impact on enterprise architecture; Monitor emerging industry standards to determine impact on enterprise architecture; Participation into the global Architecture governance process; Monitor regulatory guidelines (such as consumer privacy issues) to determine impact on enterprise architecture; Lead IT innovation in emerging technology; Support the PMO and delivery functions with technical expertise; Translate business and technology requirements into a functional and economical solution architecture Skill sets required: Ability to analyse project, programme and portfolio needs; Ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence; Manage 3rd party dependencies related to SAP environment; Implementation, upgrade and support of the latest SAP systems versions, Experience designing and implementing Solution Architecture practices; Experience with engineering and software architecture design; Deep understanding of Application development and application lifecycle management; Strong SAP Functional knowledge or SAP Basis background; Knowledge of project planning and management, including scope, time and resource management; Good understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud technologies; Knowledgeable in the design and construction architectures that enable well-integrated transaction, collaborative solutions; Configuration knowledge or experience with SAP Code, including checking for existing RICEFs and their remediation.
