A world class organisation is looking for a School Sales Consultant . The main purpose of the role is to promote and sell the organizations and partners titles to schools, booksellers, and other customers to meet sales budgets. Engaging with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and preferences. The key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Stakeholders and key influencers identified and updated on CRM. School databases collected and stored on CRM. Market info, submission opportunities and deadlines reported back to Publishing and Sales and Marketing Manager without delay. Analysis of market share & sales in allocated territory available Plans are developed in consultation with the Sales and Marketing Manager with reference to CRM and other relevant sources. Contract reps, school visits and workshops are planned in line with country plans. Campaigns implemented according to plan and feedback provided to Sales and Marketing Manager in agreed format. Ensure compliance documentation for 3rd party business partners, and customers are correctly filed and available for review and agrees to control registers. Leads, sales opportunities, and quotations are followed up and adoptions generated. Skills and Knowledge: Key account management Knowledge of educational publishing industry Marketing theory/strategy Sales / stock management Report writing. MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and QlikView Budget monitoring Behaviour competencies: Competitive Display ethical behaviour. Team player Communicate effectively. Innovate and learn. Requirements: National Diploma (Sales, Marketing, Education) 3 years in an education and/ or sales environment Kindly note that all positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
