Position: Section Engineer Industry: Mining Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa RPO Recruitment's client is seeking a Section Engineer for their mining operations in Mpumalanga. The Section Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the engineering activities in a specific section of the mine, ensuring the effective and safe operation of equipment and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, as well as experience working in the mining industry. Responsibilities: Oversee the maintenance and operation of equipment and infrastructure within the designated section of the mine Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the efficient and safe operation of equipment Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify maintenance requirements and address any issues promptly Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards within the section Assist with the development and implementation of engineering projects to improve operational efficiency Essential Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering GCC Mines and Works Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Engineering Superintendent and/or Engineering Foreman At least 7 years' experience in managing UG production inbye and outbye sections machinery in a coal mine Professional Engineer (Pr.
